So many times we realize that when we begin to follow Christ, that our lives will suddenly, all of a sudden get better. Very often, we find out that it is just the opposite. The difficult thing seem to be that we allow situations to alter and shift who we are and who we are becoming in Christ. When this happens, our “blessed assurance” in who God is and who we are in Him often seems to crumble.
