Wednesday Morning Bible Study – Please join us for our our six week Study of John Bevere’s “The King is Coming- It’s time to prepare for the return of Christ” we we will study practice steps for spiritual preparation of Jesus’s 2nd coming. Final Week: Fighting Homelessness in Our Community - Haven’s Helping Hands has focused on the issue of homelessness in our community and region the past month. Since 2014, this has been a major part of our outreach—representing nearly a quarter of our efforts. Over the years, we have served meals, supported shelters, and provided food, clothing, emergency supplies, and financial support to those in need.
This year, we invite the congregation to join us by donating food, supplies, and gently used clothing for those experiencing homelessness. A list of needed items can be found in the lobby or online.
On Sunday, May 17, we will hold a Sorting Party to organize the donations. The collected items will support the work of Meeting Ground in Elkton, and Hope Dealers Outreach, which serves those on the streets in Kensington and Baltimore.
Men’s Breakfast – Men, if you like good fellowship and food, the Men’s breakfast is the first Saturday of each month. We meet at 8:00 A M at JoJo’s in Elkton. For more info see Rig Mullin or Bob Ward.
