Branching Out: Haven’s Men’s Group will be diving into the critically acclaimed television series “The Chosen”. Sessions will be held the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm beginning January 4th. GriefShare – Grieving the loss of someone close to you? Your life has changed forever. The daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. GriefShare experts offer helpful insights on how to cope with current fears and anxieties, and what Scriptures to turn to for guidance during this 13-week series. Elkton Community Kitchen – Friday, May 3rd. We will be serving approximately 70 people a hot meal in the dining hall and one take home meal for a Foster family of 8. We need 6-7 Volunteers to help at the church from 10:30AM to 1:30PM as well as food donations. To register to help click on the link on the website. For more information contact Bill Whigham. Compassion Sunday is coming on April 28th – Compassion International’s focus is to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name! This April leading up to Compassion Sunday, we have the opportunity not only to impact a child, but to sustainably change the lives of their family for the future. Over the coming weeks, we will be collecting donations to provide income generation to families in need including goats, chickens, seeds and more. Youth Group Yard Sale/Bake Sale – Join us on Saturday May 11th from 8am to 1pm for a Community Yard Sale/Bake Sale. Purchase a table for $25 each to set up and sell your stuff!
