SCRIPTURE: Matthew 1:21-23 (ESV)
The Christmas season is filled with many traditions and excitement; yet, Christmas for others it can be a time of disconnect and loss. However, in the midst of running hard during this time, work being hectic, family events, etc. we often are running so much that we are near to each other but not with each other. It’s often the same in our walk with the Lord. We are spending time together and we are near but not with God. Jesus came to be Immanuel, God with us. So as we look at ourselves are we with God the way we need to be.
