The duty of the Board of Directors, and its members is to:
1. Perform any and all duties imposed on them collectively or individually by law, by the articles of incorporation, or by the bylaws of the organization;
2. Appoint and remove, employ and discharge, and, except as otherwise provided in the bylaws, prescribe the duties and fix the compensation, if any, of all officers, agents, and employees of the corporation;
3. Supervise all officers, agents, and employees of the corporation to assure that their duties are performed properly;
4. Meet at such times and places as required by the bylaws;
Paul Heath is a a director in the firm of Richards, Layton and Finger in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Department, practices in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency and creditor’s rights, focusing primarily on the representation of debtors, secured creditors, purchasers, committees and other parties in interest in chapter 11 cases. Michael Brandon is the Executive Director of The Paris Foundation, an organization that seeks to demonstrate Christ’s unconditional love to those in the Greater Elkton area, who are in need of material, emotional, and spiritual support. Previously, Mike has served as a police officer and a pastor. He and his family live in the Elkton area.

The pastor is the spiritual leader of the church, providing oversight to the church, teaching the Word of God, pray for its members, and ensure church discipline in accordance with God’s teachings.

The purpose of the Finance Ministry is to manage the ﬁnances of the church, including managing the collection of all forms of income and ensuring the payment of all expenses and liabilities.

The lay leader is a member of the laity in any congregation who has been chosen as a leader. Since lay leadership is not an ordained clerical office, the lay leader’s responsibilities vary according to the particular tradition to which he or she belongs.

D.R. Barton received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and his MBA from the University of Delaware. He was a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church for over a decade and became a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Delaware in 1989.
