Caring Ministry Leader

The Caring Ministry is comprised of four areas serving the members of Haven Community Church. The various ministries range from providing cards and food to providing one-on-one Stephen Ministers who are prayerfully matched with people who are going through a stressful time or life difficulty. All are underpinned by and thru the Prayer Ministry. Church Secretary

The Church Secretary is a senior position in Haven Community Church, similar to the corporate secretary in publicly listed companies. The company secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a church, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the Haven Leadership Team are implemented. Growth Leader
Ron Frederick
Our Growth Leader is responsible for small groups that build a strong sense of community with fellow believers. We do not believe it is enough to sit next to fellow Christians for 90 minutes each week. For growth in the Body, and from the Body to the Father, there needs to be sharing of joys, and burdens. Relationships need to be built that allow us to become significant in each others lives, and to be there when life gets messy.

Treasurer, Finance Team
James Forsman
The purpose of the Finance Team is to manage the finances of the church, including managing the collection of all forms of income and ensuring the payment of all expenses and liabilities. The treasurer also acts as the financial liaison with outside institutions. There are opportunities every Sunday to help collect and record the weekly offering. The lay leader represents the people in the congregation in working with the pastor, and the church leadership team for the mission and vision of the congregation.
