Ghost of Christmas Tags

In this last week of The Ghosts of Christmas Past series, we hope for joy and peace yet so often  life doesn’t always allow for that. Memories, our own anxieties and fears get blown up all the more at this time of year. Names attributed to us, words that cut deep and actions leave us broken and lost in our own selves.  The good news is it does not have to be that way!  Join us this week as we look at the tags assigned to us in Ghosts of Christmas Tags.

Ghost of Christmas Wronged

In our new series, Ghosts of Christmas Past, we will boldly look to God to heal us from the “ghosts of Christmas past” so we can embrace the joy we have in Jesus.

You Are My Obsession

Have you ever been obsessed with anything? I mean really to the point when you think of nothing else. I could be food, sports, job, a person, etc. What about God? Have you been obsessed with God? An obsessed Christian is an someone who reflects the love of Christ in everything he or she does and is totally surrendered to God. This week in our Crazy Love message series we will look at some of the characteristics of someone who is totally surrendered to God as we analyze our lives saying to God, “You’re My Obsession” and realizing what that means if we really live it out.

Mountains to Ministry

Scripture: Matthew 10:40-42; 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV) This week the mission team to Haiti will share what God did with the mountains we and the people of Haiti faced on the Mission Trip, what God is done since and what God is calling us to do in the future with the people of Gressier, Haiti.

The End?

Scripture(s): Matthew 24:3, 12-15 (NIV) During this message series, we will study the Book of Daniel, while we tackle the task on how a Christian can stay engaged in a changing, shifting and increasingly ungodly culture.  In other words, how can we live Godly in ungodly times. As culture changes, we can learn that God doesn’t.  In this final week of the Daniel series, we will look at the prophecy section of the Book of Daniel to see how it all…

Party Pooper

In week #2, we are going to look at our focus when God is not very fun. Many want to believe in God, but I don’t want to be a boring, stick-in-the-mud. To be a follower of Christ, there seems to be so many do’s and don’ts and rules and regulations. If we are really honest, many Christians are just not very likable. They seemed to be hypocritical, judgmental and holier-than-thou, often saying one thing and then something the complete opposite. In this second week of the God Didn’t, I Can’t series, look at how some often have a desire to believe in God but I can’t because God is such a Party Pooper.

What would the world look like if we filter our politics through our faith? Join us this week as we really want to know, “And the Winner is…?”

Radical Splagchnizomai

What do you think when you hear the staggering numbers of poverty and needless death in the world. What about when you hear about the 4.9 Billion people who have no faith in Christ? What do you think? Do you think twice? Does it move your heart? On week three we will embrace the greek word and concept or “Splagchnizomai” when it comes to being radical.
