GriefShare Sessions – Grieving the loss of someone close to you? Your life has changed forever. The daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. GriefShare experts offer helpful insights on how to cope with current fears and anxieties, and what Scriptures to turn to for guidance during this 13-week series starting August 18th at 6:30pm at Haven. Wednesday Morning Bible Study – Find out how to overcome depression and help others find the peace God offers them with June Hunt’s 6-week Bible study “Overcoming Depression”. Cecilton Small Group – Feeling like you’ve blown it? Reached the point of no return? That your life hasn’t gone as planned? If so, you are not alone. We all know what it feels like to have life disappoint us and not work out as we’d hoped. We all know what it’s like to long for something different, something better, and something more…This six-session video study by Louie Giglio shows us how God can use our messes and still make a masterpiece. Rooted Women’s Group Bible Study – We’re back! We’ll be studying Real Life Living in Abundance by Jack D. Cohen and Jill D. Cohen. Topic #1 Life is a Pain, Topic #2 Love Life. Disciple 3 Remember Who We Are – The Prophets – Join us Tuesday evenings at 6:30, beginning October 21, as we journey through a deeper understanding of the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament. Haven’s Helping Hands – HHH is partnering with A21 to host the 2025 Global Freedom Summit on Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 PM at Haven Community Church.This year’s focus is on the urgent crisis of online child exploitation. Nearly 50 million people are enslaved in the world today, and child sexual abuse images reported online have increased 200X in the last 16 years. Stockings for Soldiers – Our annual drive for our military vet’s returns next week! Stockings for Soldiers is a program that provides much needed items to our military personnel serving in harms way both overseas and along our border. Lists, stockings and pay links will be available starting October 19th and the program is set to wrap up November 16th!

 

Surviving the Holidays – Facing grief this holiday season? You are not alone. In fact, we’re planning a gathering for grieving people to talk about what to expect this season and to learn how to deal with the many emotions brought on by the holidays. Will you join us? Thanksgiving Food Drive – Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday—it’s a special time to open our hearts and show kindness to those who need it most. Your generous gift can bring happiness and comfort to families in our community. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive starts on October 12th and continues until November 22nd. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together with kindness and care. Last year, because of your support, we helped 206 families. Please consider participating—whether by bringing a full Thanksgiving meal, donating any item from our list, or giving a heartfelt contribution. Operation Christmas Child Volunteer Opportunity – Join us as we serve together at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Baltimore on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Volunteers will help inspect and prepare shoebox gifts for children around the world. Participants must be 13 years or older (one adult per 4 youth). It’s a wonderful way to make a global impact. Only 18 spots are available, so sign up soon!
