Haven Helping Hands – Haven Community Church is working with Meeting Ground to collect breakfast items to stock the kitchen at the Mary Randall Center in Elkton, MD, serving the homeless community. GriefShare Sessions – Grieving the loss of someone close to you? Your life has changed forever. The daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. GriefShare experts offer helpful insights on how to cope with current fears and anxieties, and what Scriptures to turn to for guidance during this 13-week series starting August 18th at 6:30pm at Haven. 3rd Annual Women’s Conference – Rooted Women’s Group will be holding our 3rd annual women’s conference on Saturday, October 11th from 8:30a to 4:30p. This year’s theme is Perfectly Pieced: Finding Your Place in God’s Puzzle. Registration is open until September 30th and is on a first come/first served basis. Registration cost is $35 per person. Get a Jump on Operation Christmas Child (OCC) – Our 2025 OCC Mission will begin in early September. At that time, we will be accepting donations of items for Haven Kids to build multiple shoeboxes. Some of the key items for the shoeboxes include school supplies. Currently, these items are on sale, and it may be a great opportunity to pick up a few extras to assist in this mission of demonstrating God’s love to children in need around the world.
Wednesday AM Small Group – There will be no Wednesday morning Bible Study the weeks of August 20th and August 27th. We will be returning September 3rd with a new series, Overcoming Depression by June Hunt.
