GriefShare Sessions – Grieving the loss of someone close to you? Your life has changed forever. The daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. GriefShare experts offer helpful insights on how to cope with current fears and anxieties, and what Scriptures to turn to for guidance during this 13-week series starting August 18th at 6:30pm at Haven. Wednesday Morning Bible Study – Find out how to overcome depression and help others find the peace God offers them with June Hunt’s 6-week Bible study “Overcoming Depression”. Cecilton Small Group – In You Are Never Alone bible study, Max Lucado walks us through John’s Gospel and explores Christ’s miracles and how He’s still at work in our lives today! In this six session video study, beginning November 5th, you’ll discover you’re stronger than you think because with Jesus in our lives, we are never truly alone. Rooted Women’s Group Bible Study – Haven’s Rooted Women’s Group will begin a new study of John 15, Secrets of the Vine Bible Study by Bruce Wilkinson. Disciple 3 Remember Who We Are – The Prophets – Join us Tuesday evenings at 6:30, beginning October 21, as we journey through a deeper understanding of the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament. Stockings for Soldiers – Our annual drive for our military vet’s returns next week! Stockings for Soldiers is a program that provides much needed items to our military personnel serving in harms way both overseas and along our border. Lists, stockings and pay links will be available starting October 19th and the program is set to wrap up November 16th!
Thanksgiving Food Drive – Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday—it’s a special time to open our hearts and show kindness to those who need it most. Your generous gift can bring happiness and comfort to families in our community. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive starts on October 12th and continues until November 22nd. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together with kindness and care. Last year, because of your support, we helped 206 families. Please consider participating—whether by bringing a full Thanksgiving meal, donating any item from our list, or giving a heartfelt contribution. Operation Christmas Child Volunteer Opportunity – Join us as we serve together at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Baltimore on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Volunteers will help inspect and prepare shoebox gifts for children around the world. Participants must be 13 years or older (one adult per 4 youth). It’s a wonderful way to make a global impact. Only 18 spots are available, so sign up soon! For more information see Judy Eyet-Lloyd

Angel Tree 2025 – Our Angel Tree program 2025 is underway starting 11/9/2025! We will be supporting 20-25 children this holiday season. There will be Angels available on the tree in the Lobby each Sunday. Please select an angel and sign it out on list so we know you have adopted one. All gifts will need to be returned by 12/7/2025. If you’d like to wrap your gift feel free to do so. But if not, please return the gift unwrapped and we will wrap them at the wrapping party held on 12/07/25 after church. All are welcome to join us! Finally, if you can’t participate with a gift, we are accepting donations on-line towards this effort as well!
