A21 is driven by a radical hope that the cycle of human trafficking can be broken.
In 2008, a few ordinary people set out to do the impossible… abolish slavery everywhere, forever. To see a world where women are no longer sold for sex. Where men are no longer sold for labor. Where children are no longer taken from their families and exploited.
A21 is one of the largest organizations in the world that is solely fighting human trafficking. At a local, domestic, and international level. All over the world, we are not just responding to trafficking that is already taking place, but we are actively working on the frontlines to prevent it from happening to begin with.
Because the problem looks different everywhere A21 works, so do they. Their programs are designed to work together, but can also stand alone–filling critical gaps in the countries and communities they work in.
