Service Information
Feasts and celebrating an important event are Biblical, and as the church it is good that we enjoy a covered dish or a meal after a church event. Just as we gathered a few weeks ago after a baptismal service to celebrate with new and present members. God’s people have been celebrating for years with feasts.
In Genesis 18 Abraham had a meal for the three Men that promised him a son. Then there is the feast of Passover and the Feast of Booths to remember the journey of Israel through the wilderness. There is the story of Martha and Mary and Jesus going to the Zaccheus’ house and another time to the home of Matthew. And Jesus’ last Passover meal with His disciples.
Today we will highlight three different feasts and the responses to them.
