At Haven Community Church, our children and their walk with the Lord is very important to us. God has blessed our church with amazing teachers and staff who are committed to teaching each and every child about the love of God, and how He created each of them for a specific purpose. We strive to provide opportunities and an environment for all children and youth to know Christ, to grow in their relationship with Him, to serve God in their homes and communities and to become powerful witnesses in the world. Proverbs 22:6 tells us, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
As the Children’s Ministry Director at Haven, Kate is committed to providing every teacher and volunteer with the tools they need to successfully train up God’s children. She also has leadership team responsibility for our youth program.
