Scripture(s): Philippians 1:2-7 (NIV)
If you’re happy and you know it life is good…If you’re happy and you know it life is good… What if life takes a turn for the worse, times get tough? Is our happiness is contingent on whatever life throws our way — that our happiness is a thermometer of life’s temperatures — or do we have anything to say in the matter? The truth is we can find happiness and peace in the midst of chaos, contentment despite limitations, and joy even in our darkest, most tragic times. When it’s all said and done, it comes down to Perspective.
In week 1 of our series, we will look at how there are times in life when you are in a place where you don’t understand, you don’t see clearly and you just don’t like it. During these times, even though you can’t necessarily see evidence of it — God is there and is very active in the midst of it all. What do we need to do? We need to learn to look through the circumstances and you can com to realize that God may have a purpose in the middle of all when we learn the power of Perspective.
