Scripture(s): John 8:1-12
If I were to ask you the question, “Who are you?” There would be a variety of answers depending on what the situations and surroundings are. What about the bigger question, “Who is Jesus?” To the woman caught in adultery, he was a second chance. To the woman at the well he was the answer to her thirst. To the leper, he was the healer. To the dead man, he was life. Who is Jesus to me?
Have you ever been where it’s really dark? I mean so dark you feel it. What about your life? Are there areas that are so dark that we want to keep hidden in the shame and agony of that area and the thought of it brings us to a deep, dark place that if it came to light we would fall apart.
On the third week of the series: I Am Jesus, we will begin to understand Jesus as he says “I Am the the Light of the World.” In him we will learn how His love overcomes the dark areas of our life.
