God. God. God. Such a small word with such powerful meaning. We read about God, we have people question about God, we ponder the mind and purpose of God. Yet, in all this, with most of the world believing in God, the hardest statement to answer seems to be, “God is _____________.” The answer to that blank not only reveals to us who we believe God is but also how we relate to God. In this new Sermon Series, God is… , we will seek to find out who God is as revealed in His word and in relationship with others. This first week, we will analyze what God is not in order to set the table for the remainder of the series.
