SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 5:15- 18; Acts 8:14-17
As we finished up our Fresh Air series, we learned that the source of fresh air in our life and faith is found in the Holy Spirit. When you hear that term you think of ghost, spirit, wind, and people acting crazy. But just who is the Holy Spirit? We are told that he is another comforter that Jesus promised the Father would send. We know he was involved in the creation of the world and the Resurrection of Jesus as well as all the miracles recorded in the Book of Acts and since that time. So why is he the most controversial, divisive, feared and argued about concept in the Bible? Maybe because others have tried to make him into their image and causes rather than the reverse. Join us in this 3-week series: The 3rd Person, as we get reintroduced to the Holy Spirit of God. In this last week of the series, we will look at the three Biblical baptisms culminating with what it means to be “filled with” the Holy Spirit. Join us for the message, Fill ‘r Up.
