Dealing with how I’m Feeling

Dealing with how I’m Feeling

Scripture(s): Mark 12:29-30 (NLT)

So many times you will hear someone say, “I don’t feel well;”  “I don’t feel like it;” or “You hurt my feelings.”  We are so shaped molded and directed by out emotions and feelings.  This week we want us to look at emotional health or how you deal with how you feel.  Last week we talked about how to manage your mind:  Your thoughts.  This week I want us to look at what the Bible says about how to manage your emotions:  How to deal with how you feel.  It is so difficult at times because how what we think influences how we feel and how we feel influences how we act.  Through all this, God wants us to manage our emotions, by  focusing toward Him and not having us be irrational due to our feelings.  This week we will unpack what the Bible says about Dealing with how I’m Feeling as we look to God transforming our lives.

Transformed is a church-wide, 7-week campaign helping guide and growth by exploring what the Bible has to say about every essential area of our lives. The series is based off of Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
