The finance team ensures the effective stewardship of the churches donations, expenditures, and assets
There are opportunities every Sunday to help collect and record the weekly offering. The Finance Team is facilitates the annual commitment and budgeting processes, and is also responsible for the church’s bank accounts, bill payments, including employee compensation, and insurance.
As the church has capital projects, there will be additional needs for fundraising campaigns as well. Having business/financial experience is a plus, but not required.
The treasurer also acts as the financial liaison with the various governmental agencies.
